What to prepare

For a useful Pre-Validation Report, we expect the relevant assessor and student assessment materials, including instructions, benchmarks, evidence requirements, assessment conditions, decision rules, mapping and result records.

  • Assessor pack: assessment guide, benchmarks, observation tools, decision rules, mapping and assessor instructions.
  • Student pack: unit information, task instructions, evidence requirements, templates, assessment conditions and declarations.
  • Supporting documents: version history, reasonable adjustment guidance and reassessment rules.

Missing or incomplete materials may limit the scope of the report. We will identify submission gaps before commencing the review.

  1. Address pre-validation findings — Resolve the issues identified in your Pre-Validation Report and update your assessment materials.
  2. Purchase activation and complete onboarding — Confirm the activation price and any separate advisory scope, purchase capability for an eligible unit, then work with our consultants to confirm submission readiness.
  3. Start submitting student assessments — Upload completed student assessments to generate marking reports for assessor review.

Receiving your report, purchasing marking capability and being ready for submissions are separate milestones. Activation alone does not confirm readiness; required improvements and onboarding must also be complete. Qualified assessors retain responsibility for final assessment decisions.
